Peers vote Salpingidis best in Greece

Panathinaikos FC forward Dimitris Salpingidis has been named Players' Player of the Year in Greece, topping the poll ahead of Olympiacos CFP defenders Paraskevas Antzas and Avraam Papadopoulos. "It's a great honour for me," said the 27-year-old. "I want to thank my peers for voting for me, but most of all my Panathinaikos' team-mates for helping me achieve this award."
