Innocenti bolsters Lazio back line

UEFA Champions League hopefuls S.S. Lazio have signed defender Duccio Innocenti from AS Bari.

S.S. Lazio have strengthened their squad ahead of next season's UEFA Champions League campaign by signing Duccio Innocenti from AS Bari.

Free transfer
The 27-year-old defender has left the Serie B club on a free transfer after his contract expired, and is believed to have agreed a three-year deal with Lazio, who will enter the Champions League third qualifying round.

'So many great players'
Innocenti, a centre-back who can also operate on either flank, said: "I look forward to playing with so many great players." A product of AC Fiorentina's youth system, he spent five seasons with Bari, three of them in Serie A.
