• Joined Udinese Calcio from Atalanta BC in 2005 and made Serie A debut in October that year.

• Spent 2006/07 on loan at Bologna FC before moving to Vicenza, initially on loan until the Serie B club acquired 50 per cent of his playing licence from Udinese.
