Tony Mowbray has been appointed as the new manager of Celtic FC, taking over from Gordon Strachan who left at the end of last season after four years in charge of the Glasgow club.

Ex-Celtic player
The 45-year-old Mowbray, who played for Celtic between 1991 and 1995, had been working as manager of English side West Bromwich Albion FC. He will be joined at Celtic Park by assistants Mark Venus, Peter Grant and Neil Lennon. "My initial thoughts: I can't wait to get started, really," he said. "I will try to put my stamp on the team and try to give the supporters something back."
