Kobin, a right-sided midfielder, has made 131 appearances in the Ukrainian Premier League, scoring eleven goals. The 24-year-old started his career with FC Zakarpattya Uzhgorod, before joining Karpaty in 2006/07. "I want to thank my team-mates, coaches and the management of Karpaty for having made me what I am as a player," Kobin said. "But like every professional footballer I want to develop and test myself at a new level, and to play in the European competitons. I know that Darijo Srna will be my rival for a starting place but I'm not afraid." Meanwhile, Miners' midfielder Artem Fedetski and forward Denis Kozhanov have extended their contracts for another two years.
