Record-breaking Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo became the world's most expensive player after sealing his move to Real Madrid CF.

Cristiano Ronaldo completed his switch from Manchester United FC to Real Madrid CF this week in a world record €94m transfer. He follows Kaká to the Santiago Bernabéu after the Brazilian's own big money move to the Spanish capital, but there has been plenty more activity in the European transfer market over recent days with Djibril Cissé joining Panathinaikos FC and Liverpool FC bringing in England right-back Glen Johnson.
