Challandes extends Zürich stay

Coach Bernard Challandes has extended his contract with Swiss champions FC Zürich by two years until summer 2012. The 57-year-old former Swiss Under-21 coach took over at the club in 2007, following up a third-placed finish in his first season with the title in 2008/09. His assistants Erich Hänzi, Andy Ladner and Dominik Baumgartner have also been awarded contract extensions until 2012 along with Ad van den Bergh, the club's head doctor.
