SK Slavia Praha are in the driving seat in their UEFA Champions League second qualifying round tie against FK Leotar after a 2-1 victory in Trebinje.
Bosnia-Herzegovnian title-holders Leotar began brightly and had Slavia on the back foot for ten minutes, with Branislav Krunic, Bojan Jucinic and Siniša Mulina all going close.
Da Silva opens scoring
But Slavia made their hosts pay for spurning their chances when Uruguayan striker Adauto Da Silva opened the scoring after 16 minutes.
Leotar deservedly pulled level three minutes before the interval when Pavle Delibašic converted from the penalty spot past Radek Cerný after Krunic had been fouled.
Visitors back ahead
Slavia raised the tempo in the second half and regained the lead after 49 minutes through captain Richard Dostálek. Last season's Czech First Division runners-up continued to control the game from that point but could not extend their advantage.
The two sides meet again in Prague next Wednesday, with the eventual winners earning a third qualifying round tie against RC Celta de Vigo of Spain.
