Harju tries luck in Turkey

Finland striker Mikka Harju has joined Turkish club Denizlispor from Myllykosken Pallo-47.

'New start'
The 26-year-old will link up with compatriot Janne Hietanen, who has been with the Super League side since the 2001/02 season. Harju said: "This will be a new start for me. For a couple of years, I was looking for a move abroad but each time I postponed the decision. This time I made up my mind. I am happy to be here."

International honours
Harju has been with Mypa since 1995 and scored ten goals in 27 matches last season in addition to notching eleven assists. He has played three matches for the Finland national team, finding the net once.
