FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk's attempt to rein in Ukrainian Premier League leaders FC Dynamo Kyiv ended in failure as the UEFA Champions League hopefuls ran out 2-0 winners at the Dnipro Arena. Tiberiu Ghioane fired the visitors' opener after 72 minutes and Artem Milevskiy made sure of the outcome with a penalty four minutes from time as Dynamo moved seven points clear of second-placed FC Shakhtar Donetsk, with Dnipro now down to fourth.
