The final day of the Russian Premier-Liga season saw FC Zenit St. Petersburg secure third spot by overcoming second-placed FC Spartak Moskva 2-1, Konstantin Zyryanov (45) and Nicolas Lombaerts (50) earning the victory. FC Lokomotiv Moskva finished fourth, level on points with Zenit, thanks to a 3-1 success at FC Khimki, while PFC CSKA Moskva came in fifth after beating FC Saturn Moskovskaya Oblast 3-0.
