Sáez goes with young guns

Spain coach Iñaki Sáez has included strikers José Antonio Reyes and Fernando Torres in his squad.

Promising forwards
Reyes, 20, and Torres, 19, are two of the most promising forwards in the Spanish game and have carved out regular first-team slots with their respective clubs, Sevilla FC and Club Atlético de Madrid. The two youngsters replace the experienced duo of Diego Tristán and Fernando Morientes, while there is also a recall for RCD Espanyol's Raúl Tamudo.

Spain squad
Cañizares, Casillas, Puyol, Juanito, Helguera, Michel Salgado, Marchena, Xabi Alonso, Romero, Xavi, Albelda, Vicente, Baraja, Etxeberria, Joaquín, Valerón, Raúl, Torres, Tamudo, Reyes.
