Veneto will look to reclaim the title they won on home soil in 1999 after being matched with Northern Ireland's Eastern Region, Azerbaijan's Qarachala and Hungary's Keleti Régió in the draw for next month's UEFA Regions' Cup finals.
Winners of the inaugural edition, Veneto were chosen to stage the world's top competition for amateur footballers after making it through the intermediary round. They will open Group A against the Northern Irish representatives, who previously qualified in 2007, while Group B includes teams from Belarus, Spain, Russia and Bulgaria.
Group games will be played on 22, 24 and 27 June, with the section winners progressing to the final two days later in Abano Terme, where the draw was made. The tournament showcases players who have never featured at any level of professional football.
The draw was made by UEFA Youth and Amateur Committee chairman Jim Boyce, who said: "I know from speaking to the players who play in this tournament about the friendships they make from different parts of Europe. These memories will last with them forever."
