A minute's silence was observed before all of today's UEFA Regions' Cup games as a mark of respect for the victims of the bombings in London.
Dreadful news
News of the atrocities carried out in the English capital reached the organisers of the final tournament in the Malopolska region on the morning of the final day of group stage games being played at the blue riband tournament for European amateur footballers.
Moment of reflection
It was decided that each of the four matches played on the final day would be preceded by a minute's silence to allow players, coaches, staff and supporters to pay their respects to the dead and the injured following the bombings. All the silences were observed impeccably.
