Hosts South-East Region AMA have been drawn alongside Tuzla Canton AMA (BHZ), Basse-Normandie AMA (FRA) and Eastern Region AMA (NIR) in Group A for June's UEFA Regions' Cup final tournament in Bulgaria following today's draw in Sliven.
Sliven finalMeanwhile, Group B will be contested by Aveiro AMA (POR), Ticino AMA (SUI), Ivan Odessa (UKR) and Dolnoslaski ZPN (POL). The finals will take place from 20 June in Sliven, Radnevo, Rakovski and Stara Zagora with each team in the two groups playing each other once, and the section winners playing off for the trophy in the final in Sliven on 26 June.
Notable officialsThe draw was conducted during the half-time interval of the final of the Bulgarian amateur championship by Reinhard Walser, vice-chairman of the UEFA Youth and Amateur Football Committee and president of the Liechtenstein Football Federation, with assistance from former Bulgarian international, mayor of Sliven and tournament ambassador Yordan Letchkov, who became world famous when heading the winner against Germany in the 1994 FIFA World Cup quarter-finals.
