Taking their name from a local river, Isloch are from the Belarusian capital, Minsk. After winning the local qualifiers to enter the UEFA Regions' Cup, the club won promotion from the third tier, but while they are fielding a professional side in domestic football in 2013, the team competing in Veneto are amateurs. The squad includes a market trader, a lawyer and a physical education teacher as well as a good number of builders. "We have a professional squad in the second domestic tier, and thus we will have two teams this season – one for the Regions' Cup, and the other for our domestic games," said 28-year-old Isloch coach Vitali Zhukovski. "It is a very unusual season."
Coach: Vitali Zhukovski
A severe knee injury ended the FC BATE Borisov trainee's career in 2002, but Zhukovski has thrived since as a coach.
