A fringe member of Giovanni Trapattoni's Republic of Ireland squad, Andrew Keogh can operate as an attacking midfielder or striker. The Dubliner has spent most of his career playing in the second and third tiers of English football, most recently on loan from Premier League Wolverhampton Wanderers FC.
• Joined Leeds United AFC as a 16-year-old trainee but did not make a first-team appearance and had loan spells at Scunthorpe United FC and Bury FC before joining Scunthorpe permanently in February 2005.
• Spent two years with Scunthorpe, enjoying an excellent first half of the 2006/07 season (that would end in the club's promotion) before joining Wolves that January and helping his new employers into the Championship play-offs.
• Made his debut for Ireland in a May 2007 friendly against Ecuador in New York and scored his first goal a year and a day later, in a 1-1 home draw with Serbia; made three appearances each in the UEFA EURO 2008 and UEFA EURO 2012 qualifying campaigns and four in trying to reach the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
• Enjoyed two productive seasons in the Championship with Wolves, helping the Midlands club to the title in 2008/09 and promotion to the Premier League.
• Lost his way at the higher level, scoring just one goal in 14 appearances before spending the 2010/11 season on loan at Cardiff City FC and Bristol City FC and the first half of the 2011/12 campaign with a third Championship team, Leeds.
