Previous clubs: Fjölnir Reykjavík, Stjarnan Gardabær, ÍBV Vestmannaeyjar.
Which player most inspired you and why? Some days everybody can inspired you, sometimes no one. I cannot think of just one person right now.
Which coach most inspired you? I cannot hear anything happening off the field when I am playing, I am so focused. So I can't answer this one. But when I'm on the bench I hear how the coaches are talking about bad passes or something that was not good, then I can't say that any of them are not inspiring.
What was the best advice they gave you? Play with your heart.
Best player you've played with? I have to say Danka Podovac, who plays for ÍBV.
Toughest opponent? Valur when they had their best team. They won every game around seven to ten goals to nil.
What are your memories of your first club as a child? When my dad took me to practise with Fjölnir, I was in ugly clothes, a pink Pocahontas jacket. We were eight or something, playing on grass so small you wouldn't believe football could be played there. We didn't have any goals, maybe five balls and so on.
What tip would you give a young player hoping to succeed? Do it for yourself. Have fun, practise more than the other players, do your best in training to get the most out of it and be professional. Try to think out of the box, like the third man when you are playing. Also the more positions you try, the better you can understand the game and the more positions the coach can use you in – it gives the team more quality.
