• The son of former Wimbledon FC and Sheffield United FC striker Alan Cork, Jack was voted Scunthorpe's player of the year while on loan at the then Championship club in 2007/08.
• Gained his first experience of top-flight football during a six-month loan spell at Burnley in the second half of 2009/10, scoring his first Premier League goal on the final day against Tottenham Hotspur FC (4-2); rejoined the Clarets on a temporary basis the following campaign.
• Played a total of 41 minutes spread over five matches during qualifying for the UEFA European Under-21 Championship in Denmark.
