National team: France

Which player has most inspired you and why? [Andrea] Pirlo. I like his cleverness, his creativity, his accuracy; he is beautiful to watch on the pitch.

Which coach has most inspired you? Christophe Gamel

What is the best advice he has given you? Never doubt yourself, always be confident. He gave me advice on my game and my character.

Best player you've played with? Shirley Cruz.

Toughest opponent? Tobin Heath, it was difficult to get the ball from her.

What are your memories of your first club as a child? When I started, it was with boys. I came with my sports bag and they all laughed because they thought I was useless. They did not want to pick me until they saw me play.

What tip would you give a young player hoping to succeed? You have to make many sacrifices to reach the highest level. You need years of work. Never give up whatever the circumstances; always work hard – more than the others. Be ambitious, serious and consistent. Work always pays off – there is no secret to it.

What was the experience of playing in a youth final tournament? The [2008 FIFA U-20 Women's] World Cup in Chile, when we qualified for the semis [with a win] against Nigeria.
