• Made his debut for Everton two days shy of his 17th birthday in May 2008; has since passed 70 Premier League appearances.

• Appeared four times at the 2009 U21 finals, scoring one goal, against Germany (1-1) in the group stage.

• Also able to play centre-back, Rodwell struck his first league goal for Everton in a 3-1 win against Manchester United FC in February 2010.
