Norway plans minute's silence for victims

A minute's silence will be observed for the victims of Friday's attacks in Oslo and Utoeya Island before kick-off in this week's UEFA club competition ties in Norway.

UEFA has announced today that, following a request from the Norwegian Football Association (NFF), a minute's silence will be observed before kick-off in all UEFA club competition matches taking place this week in Norway as a mark of respect for the victims of the attacks in Oslo and Utoeya Island on Friday 22 July.

The matches in question are the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round tie between Rosenborg BK and FC Viktoria Plzeň on Wednesday and the Aalesunds BK v IF Elsborg and Vålerenga Fotball v PAOK FC ties in the UEFA Europa League third qualifying round on Thursday.
