Several UEFA committees gather over the next week to hold their regular meetings on the wide spectrum of issues relating to UEFA and European football.

Nineteen committees are involved in shaping UEFA's policy. The committees debate areas ranging from medical matters and players' status or transfers to refereeing, finance and the UEFA competitions; they submit advice, proposals and recommendations to UEFA's Executive Committee, which may also delegate some of its duties to a specific committee. The UEFA committees and expert panels have an advisory function, unless regulations adopted by the Executive Committee grant them decision-making powers.

The week of meetings begins with the Club Competitions Committee on Thursday. This committee, among other things, exchanges views on the UEFA club competitions, and monitors the preparation and completion of the various club competition stages.

Next Tuesday sees a meeting of the Youth and Amateur Committee, which exchanges views on the UEFA European Under-17 and U19 Championships, as well as the UEFA Regions' Cup for amateur teams, and prepares the youth competition final rounds among its various duties.

On the same day, women's football is on the agenda as the Women's Football Committee talks over activities in this rapidly growing area of the game. The National Associations Committee gets together on Thursday to discuss, among other things, developments in the crucial relationship between UEFA and its 53 member national associations.

In the wake of the publication of UEFA's latest findings on club football finances in its third club licensing benchmarking report, the Club Licensing Committee meets on Friday to monitor the implementation and achievement of club licensing measures aimed at bringing stability to European club football, as well as recent developments concerning the introduction of UEFA's financial fair play measures.
