London 2013

The XXXVII Ordinary UEFA Congress took place on Friday 24 May 2013 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane in London,

The main items on the agenda were:
 
• The annual reports of the UEFA President and the UEFA Executive Committee, and the annual report of the UEFA administration for 2011/12;
• Reports on the activities of UEFA's committees; 
• Financial matters including the annual UEFA consolidated statement of accounts for 2011/12 and the budget for the 2013/14 financial year;
• Elections to the Executive Committee; 
• A resolution on 'European football united against racism'; 
• Application of the Football Association of Gibraltar for UEFA membership

Istanbul 2012

The XXXVI Ordinary UEFA Congress took place in Istanbul, Turkey on 22 March 2012, with senior representatives from UEFA’s 53 member national associations voting on a variety of issues on the agenda.

In addition to the address to delegates by UEFA President Michel Platini highlighting the past year’s activities within European football’s governing body, the chairmen of UEFA’s standing committees also reported on their respective committee’s work. Signature ceremonies took place for the renewed Memorandums of Understanding agreed with the European Club Association (ECA), the European Professional Football Leagues (EPFL) and the players' union FIFPro Division Europe.

The major decisions taken by the UEFA Congress also included the approval of minimum contractual requirements for players' contracts (the so-called Autonomous Agreement) as a consequence of the European social dialogue bringing together representatives of the employers and of the employees.

The Congress approved the reports of the UEFA President/Executive Committee and the UEFA administration for 2010/11, as well as financial matters including the annual UEFA consolidated statement of accounts for 2010/11 and approval of the budget for the 2012/13 financial year.

UEFA Congress agenda announced for Istanbul

The annual UEFA Congress meeting – the official gathering of UEFA's 53 member associations – will take place this year in Istanbul on Thursday 22 March, with a busy agenda in prospect.

The XXXVI Ordinary UEFA Congress is to take place on Thursday 22 March in the Istanbul Congress Centre, Taşkışla Caddesi Harbiye 34367, Istanbul, Turkey.

The annual UEFA Congress meeting, which is the official gathering of UEFA's 53 member national associations, will open on the morning of Thursday 22 March at 09.30 local time (08.30CET). A media conference, attended by the UEFA President Michel Platini, will be held at the end of the Congress meeting on the same day, at approximately 14.30.

Prior to the UEFA Congress, the UEFA Executive Committee will meet in the Conrad Istanbul Hotel, Cihannuma Mah. Saray Cd, No:5 Besiktas, Istanbul. This meeting is scheduled to take place over two days, on the afternoon of Tuesday 20 March from 14.00 to 18.00 and on the morning of Wednesday 21 March from 09.00 to 12.00. A press conference, attended by the UEFA General Secretary Gianni Infantino, is planned directly after the end of the Executive Committee meeting at around 12.30. The agenda of the UEFA Executive Committee will be communicated in due course.

The main agenda items for the XXXVI Ordinary UEFA Congress include:

• Reports of the UEFA President and the Executive Committee and Report of the UEFA Administration 2010/11
• Reports on the committees' activities
• Financial matters including the annual UEFA consolidated statement of accounts 2010/11 and approval of the budget for the 2012/13 financial year
• European Social Dialogue: Approval of agreement on minimum player contract requirements

Media representatives wishing to attend the XXXVI Ordinary UEFA Congress and/or UEFA Executive Committee press conferences are requested to apply for accreditation by emailing fame_accreditations@uefa.ch no later than Thursday 15 March, indicating "Congress" and/or "Exco" in the subject header.

A media working area equipped with wireless connection (Wi-Fi) will be available at each venue. ISDN/ADSL or analogue lines will have to be ordered through the respective national telecommunications company.
