National teams top Executive Committee agenda

The UEFA Executive Committee meets in Nyon on Friday 25 January, with UEFA EURO 2020, the centralised European qualifiers, FIFA Statutes and club licensing on the agenda.

The UEFA Executive Committee, chaired by UEFA President Michel Platini, will hold its first meeting of the year at the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland, on Friday 25 January.

The meeting of the Executive Committee will start at 09.00CET and is scheduled to end at 17.00CET. It will be followed by a press conference attended by both the UEFA President and UEFA General Secretary Gianni Infantino, which will be broadcast live on UEFA.com.

The main points on the agenda are:
• UEFA EURO 2020 – status report on key hosting criteria
• Update on the centralised European qualifiers project
• FIFA reform process and proposed amendments to the FIFA Statutes
• Update on UEFA Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play matters

Media interested in attending the press conference are requested to inform UEFA by emailing fame_accreditations@uefa.ch with the words 'UEFA Executive Committee Nyon' in the subject header by Tuesday 22 January at 12.00CET.

The next meeting of the UEFA Executive Committee is scheduled to take place in Sofia, Bulgaria, on 28 March.
