The venues for the 2015 UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League finals are on the agenda for the UEFA Executive Committee's meeting in London on Wednesday and Thursday.

The committee, chaired by UEFA President Michel Platini, will also hear an update on preparations for UEFA EURO 2016 in France, as well as approving various competition regulations.

London is the setting for a hectic week of UEFA activity. In addition to the Executive Committee meeting, the English city is hosting the XXXVII Ordinary UEFA Congress on Friday, the UEFA Women's Champions League final at Stamford Bridge on Thursday, and the UEFA Champions League final at Wembley on Saturday.

Interest is high in which cities will welcome the 2015 club competition finals. The Estádio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica in Lisbon, Portugal, will hold the 2014 UEFA Champions League final, while Juventus Stadium in Turin, Italy, will stage the 2014 UEFA Europa League showpiece.

Turning to UEFA EURO 2016, which will take place in France in June/July 2016, the steering group for the tournament met recently in Lille and expressed satisfaction at the state of preparations. Bordeaux, Lens, Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Nice, Paris, Saint-Denis, Saint-Etienne and Toulouse will host matches in the first 24-team EURO final tournament.

UEFA's Executive Committee will also be asked to approve the following regulations:

• UEFA European Under-17 Championship 2013/14
• UEFA European Under-19 Championship 2013/14
• UEFA European Women's Under-17 Championship 2013/14
• UEFA European Women's Under-19 Championship 2013/14

After London, the committee's next gathering is scheduled for 19 and 20 September in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
