UEFA President Michel Platini met with UEFA's 53 associations in Budapest and attended the Congress of CONCACAF, where Jeffrey Webb became the new president.

UEFA President Michel Platini has met in Budapest with representatives of UEFA's 53 member national associations.

Mr Platini chaired the meeting of all of the European federations in preparation for the 62nd FIFA Congress, which will take place in the Hungarian capital on Thursday and Friday.

Following the meeting, Mr Platini and the UEFA General Secretary Gianni Infantino attended the elective Congress of the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF).

Jeffrey Webb, the president of the Cayman Islands Football Association, was elected as CONCACAF's new president. He is the fourth president in the organisation's 51-year history, and will be at the helm of 40 member associations.
