Dutch media rights awarded to RTL

Dutch media rights awarded to RTL

UEFA has announced that commercial broadcaster RTL will continue as a content partner in the Netherlands having been awarded media rights for the 2012–15 UEFA Europa League.

UEFA announced today the award of certain 2012–15 UEFA Europa League media rights to RTL in the Netherlands.

Leading commercial broadcaster RTL will continue to show, via its channel RTL7, the best UEFA Europa League live match per kick-off slot, as well as a highlights programme each matchnight. This award of rights will ensure the same extensive free-to-air coverage of the competition in the Netherlands.

All rights have been granted on a platform-neutral basis, with the rights also being exploited on the internet via rtl.nl and on mobile. Further announcements regarding the sale of the remaining UEFA Europa League media rights will be made in due course.
