Global Media Group awarded Georgian rights

Pay television operator Global Media Group will have the rights in Georgia for the remainder of this season's UEFA Europa League campaign, UEFA has announced.

UEFA announced today the award of the media rights for the remainder of the 2011/12 UEFA Europa League to Global Media Group in Georgia.

Pay television operator Global Media Group has been awarded all rights to the rest of the 2011/12 UEFA Europa League season. At least two live matches per kick-off slot will be broadcast on GMG Football and GMG Sport 1, with GMG Sport 2 showing a third match live during the quarter-finals.

In line with UEFA's platform-neutral approach, football fans in Georgia will also be able to follow the UEFA Europa League on mobile and on the internet via gmg-tv.com.
