The Sports Channel signs 2012–15 Israel rights deal

The 2012–15 UEFA Champions League media rights in Israel have been awarded to The Sports Channel which will screen matches on Sport 5, Sport 5+ and +GOLD.

UEFA announced today the award of the 2012–15 UEFA Champions League media rights to The Sports Channel in Israel.

The Sports Channel has acquired all rights to the competition and will broadcast three live matches each matchnight on Sport 5, Sport 5+ and +5GOLD. In addition Sport 5 will also show a highlights programme every matchnight.

All rights have been granted on a platform-neutral basis with the rights also being exploited on the internet via sport5.co.il and on mobile.

Further announcements about the sale of the 2012–15 UEFA Europa League media rights in Israel will be made in due course.
