UEFA announced today the award of 2012–15 UEFA Europa League media rights in Spain to Mediaset España and Gol Televisión.

Mediaset España has been awarded the rights to the best match each matchweek on a co-exclusive basis. The live match, as well as a weekly highlights programme, will be broadcast on Cuatro each matchweek.

Following the recent award of UEFA Europa League rights for all remaining live games to Gol Televisión, the pay-television operator has also been awarded the right to broadcast the best live match each matchweek on a co-exclusive basis.

All rights have been granted on a platform-neutral basis, with the rights also being exploited by each broadcaster on internet – via mitele.es and goltelevision.com – and on mobile.

Commenting on the award of these rights, UEFA said: "UEFA is delighted to continue its successful partnership with Mediaset España and further develop its new partnership with Gol Televisión. UEFA firmly believes that both broadcasters will further enhance the appeal of the competition in Spain."
