UEFA announced today the award of the 2012–15 UEFA Europa League media rights in Canada to Sportsnet. This announcement follows on from the recent award of 2012–15 UEFA Champions League media rights to Sportsnet in the territory.

Sportsnet will broadcast two live matches each matchnight on Sportsnet ONE and on Sportsnet World, as well as a highlights programme each matchweek. All rights have been granted on a platform-neutral basis, with the rights also being exploited on the internet via www.sportsnet.ca and on mobile. This announcement concludes the sale of 2012–15 UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League media rights in the Americas.
