Belgium's RTL awarded Champions League rights

For the 2012–15 UEFA Champions League in Belgium, free-to-air broadcaster RTL has been awarded rights to the best match every matchnight in the French language.

UEFA today announced the award of certain media rights to RTL for the 2012–15 UEFA Champions League in Belgium.

Free-to-air broadcaster RTL has secured the right to the best match each matchnight in the French language. Every matchnight RTL will broadcast one live match as well as a highlights programme on its channel Club RTL.

All rights have been granted on a platform-neutral basis with the rights being exploited via television, the internet (www.rtl.be) and mobile.

This announcement concludes the sale of UEFA Champions League media rights in Belgium following the recent announcements of deals with VMMA and Belgacom.

TEAM Marketing is the exclusive marketing agency of UEFA for the exploitation of certain media and commercial rights relating to the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and UEFA Europa League.
