UEFA statement – tickets for Barcelona match

UEFA has issued a statement following Spanish media reports about the number of tickets allocated to the organisation for the FC Barcelona-FC Internazionale Milano semi-final.

Following media reports that appeared in the Spanish press today about the number of tickets allocated to UEFA for tomorrow's UEFA Champions League semi-final at FC Barcelona, UEFA would like to clarify the following:

The total number of tickets that have been allocated to UEFA is 2,008 and not 8,500 as wrongly reported. This mostly covers tickets for official VIP guests, commercial partners and broadcasters, which are, in the main, purchase tickets.

According to UEFA regulations, the visiting club are entitled to receive at least 5% of the total stadium capacity for their own fans. Any unused tickets are returned to the host club.

For this match, around 4,900 tickets have finally been allocated to FC Internazionale Milano supporters.
