Porto cleared in ticketing case

The UEFA Appeals Body upholds FC Porto's appeal in relation to last season's UEFA Cup final.
UEFA Cup holders FC Porto have been cleared by UEFA in a ticketing case related to last season's UEFA Cup final.

Original decision
The UEFA Appeals Body overturned the UEFA Control and Disciplinary Body's original decision, in which the Portuguese club was fined €32,500 in September.

Decision quashed
Porto had been found guilty by the Control and Disciplinary Body of offering tickets at inflated prices on the black market for the final against Celtic FC in Seville in May, which Porto won 3-2. However, consideration of evidence showed that Porto did not commit violations warranting the punishment, and the Appeals Body has quashed the decision taken by the first instance.
