Fines announced for incidents

Improper conduct
Belgrade club FK Crvena Zvezda received a €77,500 fine for the improper conduct of their supporters, including racist chanting, a pitch incursion by one spectator, and the setting off and throwing of Bengal lights and flares on to the pitch, during the away leg of their UEFA Cup tie against Denmark's Odense BK on 24 September.

Violent incidents
Panathinaikos FC, meanwhile, were fined €64,500 for the throwing of coins, bottles and other missiles, one of which hit the fourth official, by their supporters at the UEFA Champions League match against Rangers FC on 1 October. Rangers were handed a €650 penalty for damage caused to a dressing-room door.

Missile throwing
There was a €32,000 sanction for another Greek team, Olympiacos CFP, after a match official was struck by a missile thrown by one of their fans during the Champions League meeting with Juventus FC on 30 September. Meanwhile, HNK Hajduk Split were fined €22,600 after misbehaving fans caused a stoppage in their UEFA Cup game at Grasshopper-Club on 24 September.

Player banned
Galatasaray SK received a €6,500 fine after their supporters threw missiles during the Champions League tie against Real Sociedad de Fútbol on 30 September. In addition, Galatasaray's Hasan Sas will be suspended for one game following his dismissal in this match.

Wales cleared
Finally, the Control and Disciplinary Body cleared the Football Association of Wales of charges of improper conduct by Welsh supporters at the UEFA EURO 2004™ qualifier against Italy in Milan on 6 September.
