Referee ban upheld by Appeals Body

The decision to impose a life ban from all football activities on Bosnian and Herzegovinian match official Novo Panić has been confirmed by the UEFA Appeals Body.

The UEFA Appeals Body has rejected the appeal by referee Novo Panić against a life ban from all football activities.

The UEFA Control and Disciplinary Body took the initial decision on 18 February when it examined the case. The match official from Bosnia and Herzegovina was found guilty for being in breach of the principles of loyalty and integrity under Article 5 of the UEFA Disciplinary Regulations.

The decisions taken by the Control and Disciplinary Body and Appeals Body are sporting ones instigated by UEFA, allowed under the Statutes of UEFA and governed by the UEFA Disciplinary Regulations, 2008 edition.
