AIK fined for crowd disturbances

The UEFA Control and Disciplinary Body has handed down a €15,000 fine to Swedish club AIK for the improper conduct of their supporters during the visit of Rosenborg BK on 28 July.

Swedish club AIK have been fined €15,000 by the UEFA Control and Disciplinary Body for the improper conduct of their supporters at the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round first-leg match against Norwegian visitors Rosenborg BK last Wednesday.

Proceedings were opened by UEFA against AIK for crowd disturbances, throwing of missiles and the improper conduct of supporters towards Rosenborg fans and Swedish police. An appeal may be lodged within three days of the dispatch of the reasoned decision. Rosenborg won the first leg 1-0.
