UEFA opens Madrid and CFR Cluj cases

UEFA opens Madrid and CFR Cluj cases

Disciplinary cases have been opened against both Real Madrid CF and CFR 1907 Cluj for improper conduct during their UEFA Champions League group games on Matchday 5.

UEFA has confirmed that a disciplinary case has been opened against Real Madrid CF for the improper conduct of coach José Mourinho and players Xabi Alonso, Sergio Ramos, Iker Casillas and Jerzy Dudek during the UEFA Champions League Group G match against AFC Ajax in Amsterdam on Tuesday.

In addition, a disciplinary case has been opened against CFR 1907 Cluj for the improper conduct of coach Sorin Cârţu during the UEFA Champions League Group E game against FC Basel 1893 in Basel on the same night.

Both cases will be dealt with by the UEFA Control and Disciplinary Body on Tuesday 30 November.
