Serbia-England appeal decisions

The UEFA Appeals Body has given its verdicts in relation to last October's UEFA European U21 Championship play-off second leg between Serbia and England in Krusevac.

Following the appeals lodged by UEFA, the English Football Association (FA) and the Serbian fitness coach Andreja Milutinović against the decisions of the UEFA Control and Disciplinary Body of 13 December 2012 concerning a number of incidents that occurred during and after the 2013 UEFA European Under-21 Championship play-off second-leg match between Serbia and England last October, the UEFA Appeals Body has rendered the following decisions:

• The appeal lodged by UEFA is partially admitted as follows:

a) The Serbian fitness coach Andreja Milutinović is suspended from all football-related activities for two years. FIFA will be requested to extend this decision so as to give it a worldwide effect.
b) The Serbian player Nikola Ninković is suspended for three UEFA national team competition matches.
c) The Serbian U21 team is ordered to play its next two home UEFA competition matches behind closed doors.

• The appeal lodged by the English FA is partially admitted as follows:

The England player Steven Caulker is issued with a warning in respect of his future conduct, and the player undertakes to perform one full day of community football service according to the instructions to be given by UEFA Disciplinary Services.

• The appeal lodged by Andreja Milutinović is rejected.

The other decisions taken by the Control and Disciplinary Body on 13 December 2012 are confirmed.
