Introduction: Asst. Programmes: Anti-racism

UEFA has reinforced its stand against racism, and together with the players' body FIFPro is now actively supporting campaigns which are attempting to banish this evil from football and society.

European football’s governing body has forged a close partnership with the Football Against Racism in Europe (FARE) network – which comprises groups and bodies working against intolerance and discrimination across the continent.

UEFA has given considerable financial support to the FARE organisation in recent years, and both bodies have co-operated in staging events, issuing publications, and using the massive public and commercial platform of Europe's biggest football matches to press home a message of zero tolerance for any form of racism and discrimination, in favour of more respect for diversity.
