
UEFA today announced that it has awarded the media rights for the 2011/12 UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League to free-to-air broadcaster 1+1, replacing Poverkhnost as UEFA's broadcast partner in Ukraine.
Channels 1+1 and 2+2 will both broadcast at least one UEFA Champions League match per matchweek as well as highlights while channel 2+2 will show one UEFA Europa League match per kick-off slot and a highlights programme per matchweek. UEFA Europa League matches featuring Ukrainian teams and the UEFA Europa League final will be broadcast on channel 1+1.
Ukrainian football fans will also be able to follow both competitions on the internet via www.1plus1.ua and www.2plus2.ua and on mobile.
