Media rights deal for 2012-15 UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League announced in the Philippines

009 - ABS-CBN awarded all media rights

UEFA announced today the award of all media rights for the 2012-15 UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League in the Philippines to ABS-CBN.

Free-to-air channel Studio 23 and basic cable TV channel Balls will both broadcast one live match and a highlights programme each UEFA Champions League matchnight, as well as one delayed match each matchweek.

With regard to the UEFA Europa League, up to three live matches per matchweek will be broadcast across both channels. In addition, a highlights programme and one delayed match will be shown every matchweek on each channel.

All rights have been granted on a platform-neutral basis, with the rights also being exploited on the internet via www.ballschannel.tv, as well as on mobile.
