2012-15 UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League media rights deals announced in Ukraine

056 - Media Group 1+1 and Media Group Ukraine awarded rights

UEFA today announced the award of the 2012-15 UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League to Media Group 1+1 (channels 1+1 and 2+2) and to Media Group Ukraine (channels Ukraine and Football).

With regard to the UEFA Champions League each broadcaster will transmit one live match each matchweek, followed by a highlights programme. The combination will ensure that Ukrainian football viewers can enjoy each matchweek at least one match per matchnight.

Regarding the UEFA Europa League, each broadcaster will show one live match per matchweek as well as a weekly highlights programme.

In line with UEFA’s platform neutral approach, the rights will be also exploited via internet, as well as on mobile.
