Action Week grants offer

The FARE network is offering small-scale grants to groups for October's events.

With UEFA's help, the Football Against Racism in Europe (FARE) network is offering small-scale grants to groups who want to become active during the 17-30 October FARE Action Week against Racism and Discrimination in European football.

Financial contribution
More than €50,000 will be made available for grassroots and community initiatives across Europe during the Action Week, while the deadline to apply for a financial contribution of €400 ends on 10 September. FARE asks fan clubs, migrant and ethnic minority groups, amateur football clubs, refugee organisations or youth initiatives to submit their creative proposals. Click here for contact details and further information.

UEFA activities
UEFA is dedicating UEFA Champions League Matchday 3 to the FARE Action Week, and some UEFA Cup matches will highlight the campaign that week. FARE activities will also take place at UEFA EURO 2008™ qualifiers in mid-October.
