Leading footballers from around the world have sent out an emphatic anti-racist message in a new DVD produced by the Show Racism the Red Card body together with the international players' union FIFPro.

Racism is unacceptable
The Show Racism the Red Card DVD (click here) features players such as Samuel Eto'o, Didier Drogba, Thierry Henry, Ryan Giggs and Rio Ferdinand all lending their voices to convey the message that racist expressions and actions are completely unacceptable.

Personal experiences
In what is an updated version of a popular educational film by UK-based charity Show Racism the Red Card, top internationals discuss their personal experiences of racist abuse on and around the football pitch, and how they dealt with it. By giving their opinions on the DVD, these footballing ambassadors hope to encourage children in particular to think about, and in future years successfully tackle, the problem of racism.

New documentary
The DVD also examines the changing face of racism in football, in a new documentary entitled Racism in the Beautiful Game. As well as working with Show Racism the Red Card to produce this work, the players' union FIFPro is working together with UEFA and the Football Against Racism in Europe (FARE) network as preparations are finalised for the third Unite Against Racism Conference which the Polish Football Association will host in Warsaw next Tuesday and Wednesday.
