Champions No19

The Premier League talents of Thierry Henry and Andriy Shevchenko are featured, as are the Real Madrid CF duo of Robinho and Fabio Cannavaro in the latest edition of Champions.

Andriy Shevchenko might have been a star of the boxing ring. Robinho's dog is called Stepover. Hernán Crespo is a football encyclopaedia. Roberto Mancini does not like football robbery. You can find out all this and more in issue 19 of the official UEFA Champions League magazine Champions.

The front two
Arsenal FC captain Thierry Henry explains the concept of "nice arrogance" while his new rival in the Premiership's scoring stakes, Chelsea FC's Ukrainian frontrunner Shevchenko, insists there is life after failing your football exams. Champions also strolls past Robinho's swimming pool and lounges on the Real Madrid CF starlet's garden terrace. Fresh from FIFA World Cup glory with Italy, Madrid newcomer Fabio Cannavaro is featured too.

Crespo confides
In a candid conversation, FC Internazionale Milano spearhead Hernán Crespo speaks about his football travels and travails, how it feels to be unable to communicate with your team-mates, and what makes his hair stand on end. Crespo's coach at Inter, Roberto Mancini, talks about suddenly becoming Serie A's top dog. Celtic FC coach Gordon Strachan reflects on rebuilding the team from scratch, and FC Girondins de Bordeaux's Ricardo Gomes insists he is not the ogre he is made out to be.

A must
All of this and much, much more can be found in issue 19. Champions - a must for the discerning football supporter - appears in English and is on sale in shops and at Europe's major football stadiums. Click here to subscribe to Champions.
