The 27-year-old Brazilian player will miss the Milan derby on Sunday and the UEFA Champions League game against FC Lokomotiv Moskva in Moscow on 21 October. Luciano is yet to appear in the Champions League this season but has played in all four of Inter's Serie A matches since joining from AC Chievo Verona in the summer.
Injury list
Luciano joins Sabri Lamouchi on Inter's injury list. The French international will also be out of action for up to a month after suffering a similar injury yesterday.
