TNS opt for Wrexham switch

Total Network Solutions FC will play the second leg of their qualifier against Liverpool FC at the Racecourse Ground.

'Possible options'
With the Welsh champions' Latham Park home unsuitable for such a tie, TNS will again play their European football at the Racecourse Ground having done so against Östers IF in UEFA Cup qualifying last season. "Having weighed up all the possible options, we are more than happy to play the game in Wrexham," said TNS managing director Mike Harris.

'Convention'
"The Millennium Stadium probably wouldn't be available to us as there's a three-day convention being held there in the days prior to the game. We decided taking the second leg to Anfield would've been too much trouble to organise." Liverpool will host the first leg on 13 July with the return in Wales taking place on 19/20 July.
