Saveljic 'at home' with Partizan

Defender Nisa Saveljic has agreed to leave FC Istres for a third spell at Serbo-Montenegrin champions FK Partizan.

Third spell
Saveljic, whose return follows those of fellow Serbo-Montenegrin internationals Ivica Kralj, Zoran Mirkovic, Ivan Tomic, Albert Nadj and Dragan Ciric over the last two years, has agreed a contract running until summer 2007. The 35-year-old previously played for Partizan from 1994-97 and during the 2000/01 season.

'Home again'
The former FC Girondins de Bordeaux, FC Sochaux-Montbéliard, SC Bastia, EA Guingamp and Istres player, capped 33 times by his country between 1995 and 2000, said: "I have the nice old feeling that I am home again. Everything is the same, Partizan are part of my family. I know it all - duties, people, supporters, expectations. I am at full strength and ready for new victories."

Sheriff in town
Partizan's UEFA Champions League campaign begins on Wednesday with the second qualifying round first-leg visit of FC Sheriff of Moldova.
